William Roberts is a highly respected and experienced trumpet and brass teacher. He has nearly Fifteen years worth of experience teaching all standards and abilities. William also teaches piano and music theory. Below is a brief account of his teaching philosophy.
Good trumpet technique focuses on a solid embouchure, good posture and breathing, and a fluent knowledge of finger positions. I use a variety of methods to teach these which are tailored to individuals abilities and interests because I believe that pupils learn more if they enjoy their lessons and are interested in the subject matter.
