William Roberts Trumpet

William Roberts has performed with many outstanding orchestras, both in Norway and the UK. These have included the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, The Norwegian Radio Orchestra and The Norwegian Opera & Ballet, as well as the London Philharmonic Orchestra, English National Opera, Halle and BBC Philharmonic. He has worked with the London Contemporary Orchestra, including film recordings and a tour with the pop group Belle & Sebastian. William has performed in many impressive venues including the Oslo Konserthus, Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall and The Barbican to name a few. He has performed on live TV and Radio, including at the Proms. William has performed throughout Europe including France, Spain, Austria, Belgium, Holland, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland and Russia.

William has completed the London Philharmonic Orchestra’s Future First apprenticeship. He studied at the Royal Academy of Music for his postgraduate studies, as well as training at the Royal Northern College of Music and Chetham’s School of Music. William was also a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain. He has had the privilege of having master classes with some of the most influential players to date, including Hakan Hardenberger, Rheinhold Friedrich, Alison Balsom, Eric Aubier, and Canadian Brass, German Brass and ONYX Brass.
